Meet the Team
Lenny Karipidis
Founder & Lead TutorLenny brings a background in education, emergency medicine, and community service to every session she leads. A Rochester native with formal teaching experience and years of work across diverse student populations, she founded LK Tutoring on a simple belief: every student can succeed when they are taught the right way. She works across a wide range of subjects including math, science, English, writing, Spanish, ASL, and standardized test prep, and is equally comfortable with a kindergartner sounding out their first words as she is with an adult student preparing an exam. Patient, adaptable, and genuinely invested in every student she works with, Lenny is the kind of tutor families come back to.
Abby St.Denis
TutorAbby is a Rochester based educator with a Bachelor of Science in English from SUNY Brockport and dual certifications in progress in Inclusive Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities. She currently works as a 2nd Grade Math Specialist, where she designs targeted intervention lessons and helps students close gaps that have followed them for years. Abby has worked across nearly every grade level from Pre-K up, in public schools, charter schools, and community programs, and she has a particular gift with students who have not always had an easy relationship with learning. She meets them where they are without judgment, builds trust first, and lets the progress follow. Families notice the difference quickly.
Ashley Wilson
TutorAshley is pursuing her Master of Science in Childhood Education at the University of Rochester, where she is also a LEND Fellow. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education summa cum laude from the University of Richmond, holds a teaching certificate for PreK through sixth grade, and was named to Teachers of Promise. She has taught kindergarten through fifth grade, including a long term first grade placement, and tutors one on one in reading, math, essay writing, and US history. Ashley's instinct is to build the relationship before the lesson, using games, conversation, and a student's own interests to make the work click. Her goal for every student is the same: more confidence, more independence.
Eve Woloszuk
TutorEve is pursuing her Master of Business Administration at SUNY Brockport and holds a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art from Nazareth University, where she earned awards in printmaking, sculpture, and metalsmithing. She has taught at Trinity Montessori School, where she built art projects that worked for students of widely different abilities, and she has coached youth soccer for a decade. That combination shows up in how she tutors: Eve builds confidence through doing, giving students a way into material rather than a single path everyone has to follow. She is certified in adult and child CPR and first aid, and she works well with students who learn best by making, building, and moving.
