Learning Kinetics Tutoring was founded in February 2025 by Lenny Karipidis, born out of a simple but deeply held conviction: that every student deserves someone in their corner who genuinely understands how they learn.
What began as informal academic support grew quickly into a structured private practice, driven by real results and the kind of relationships that keep families coming back year after year. LK Tutoring is not a franchise, not a chain, and not a algorithm-matched service. It is a human practice, built one student at a time.
The Person Behind the Practice
Lenny Karipidis is a multi-subject tutor, educator, and academic mentor based in Rochester, New York. With a background that includes formal teaching experience in Greek language and grammar, years of volunteer tutoring work, and a growing roster of students spanning every grade level and learning need, Lenny brings both depth of knowledge and genuine warmth to every session. Her approach is rooted in the belief that academic struggle is rarely about intelligence, it is almost always about finding the right way in.
Lenny works across an exceptionally wide range of subjects, including mathematics, all sciences, English and writing, French, Spanish, American Sign Language, standardized test preparation, and AI education, a combination that sets LK Tutoring apart in a market where most tutors specialize narrowly. Sessions are available in person throughout the Rochester area as well as fully virtual, allowing LK to serve students well beyond the local community.

To meet students where they are, understand how they learn, and guide them toward academic mastery through individualized instruction, consistent support, and meaningful connection.
This is not about drilling content until it sticks, it is about understanding the person sitting across the table or screen, and building an experience around who they actually are.

Standard — Structure, accountability, and direction for students who are ready to grow.
Elite — Maximum flexibility and high-touch support for students who need it all.
